Self-development and practical knowledge of the mind have been my passion for more than 30 years and I'm still learning.
My exploration into mind/ body medicine began some 25 years ago when my daughter had ME (Chronic Fatigue) It became evident that her condition was definitely influenced by her state of mind. I began to see that mind and body are inseparable - my study of Ayurveda the 5,000 year old medicine of India, understands about this powerful connection and that of our selves and our environment.
Important to me is continuous learning through experience. Finding life hacks that enable challenges to become points of growth.
I have travelled solo to India regularly for 30 years, it has always held a deep resonance for me. Colours are more intense. All the senses are heightened. Synchronicity becomes strong. Without language Intuition sharpens, relationships move so fast. Living and learning hand in hand; my favourite way to live!
India is full of contradictions and contrasts; peace and noise all at once. Hustle and heat. Sweet-tempered yet extremely harsh. Beauty and filth all in the same breath. India is a source of joy and inspiration for me. It is a deeply spiritual place of acceptance. I am grateful it has taught me so much. It's my second home - and I love it!
My daily practice of Buddhism ( chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo ) and morning Yoga have been my constant companions. I have also explored many forms of meditation, hypnosis, NLP, medium-ship, trance and much more. I have been a student of some of the great teachers of our time like Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Caroline Myss and Gregg Braden to name a few. Of particular interest to me is the crossover between science and spirituality.
I also love to learn from anyone I meet, wisdom is found everywhere.
Buddhism taught me to question rather than believe and always look for actual proof of what a practice can do.
When I came across Tapping I wanted to test it. At the time I was off work as I had felt dizzy for weeks. My GP just told me to rest. It only took one long session for the Tapping to work it's magic I neutralised the deep rooted issue causing it and my dizziness melted away. That was back in 2010… since then Tapping and Matrix Reimprinting have become enormously valuable in my life.
EFT Tapping and Matrix Reimprinting have enabled me to move confidently through some very emotive life changes. The simple act of Tapping brings me back to a state of equilibrium quickly.
Several years ago when I was fighting a court case I used it daily to control my fear and anticipation. It made a huge difference to managing my emotions. Whenever I felt fear in my solar plexus I would tap to clear it. As the date of the hearing came closer I was able to change my emotions from fear to excitement with tapping.
It's a great way to clear the system so stress doesn’t build up and cause more problems.
